Shoes

We would prefer children to come to school in smart black shoes (no trainers). Children may bring Wellingtons in the winter when the field is wet (children without Wellingtons will not be permitted on the grass). Children need to bring in a change of shoes for indoor use. These need to be hard soled for example plimsols , crocs etc. Slippers should not be worn as indoor footwear as they pose risk from sharp objects, for example, drawing pins.

Navy blue sweatshirts, cardigans, polo shirts, crew-necked shirts and reversible jackets all with the school logo are available from the school office. Mrs. Ramsay organises an order just after the Easter break..

Some used clothes are also available through the school. A small donation to the school funds is expected if you would like any of these items.

NOTE: There is a name label inside the pocket of the jacket - please use it, as this helps to avoid confusion over ownership!!

During summer months and warmer weather, girls may also wear pale blue and white gingham style dresses.

The school sweatshirts, sweat cardigans, reversible jackets and school polo shirts come in various sizes and samples are available to try on at the school.

We ask that jewellery be kept to a minimum, watches and stud ear-rings are acceptable. Children wearing more elaborate jewellery may be asked to remove it, and in any case will need to remove it for PE. If your child's ears have recently been pierced they will need to cover their ear-rings with plasters or tape for PE. NB - staff cannot be expected to remove children's ear-rings.
